Executive Advisor & Lead Consultant
Victoria Stattel is an executive advisor and former U.S. Naval officer who brings rare, lived credibility at the intersection of national security, executive leadership, strategic engagement, and transformation. Her work spans frontline military operations, Pentagon-level strategy, senior executive advisory, and high-stakes stakeholder engagement across the Department of Defense, interagency, Congress, and allied partners.
A graduate of the United States Naval Academy, Victoria spent over sixteen years embedded within the U.S. Navy and broader DoD ecosystem—first as a line officer and helicopter pilot, and later in strategic, policy, and advisory roles. Her military experience includes operational aviation, deep exposure to the Navy’s acquisition and maintenance enterprise, service in the National Military Command Center at the Pentagon, and deployment to Afghanistan, where she worked directly with senior command teams and international partners.
At the Pentagon, Victoria served as a senior advisor and speechwriter to flag officers, contributing to thought leadership and strategic visioning for Navy Irregular Warfare and future operating concepts. Her work focused on helping senior leaders anticipate and adapt to shifts driven by climate change, technology, and evolving threat environments—particularly in littoral and complex operational domains directly relevant to maritime geo-data and oceanographic capabilities.
During her deployment to Afghanistan, Victoria worked with the Strategic Action Group and represented the command in international and interagency settings, including engagements with NATO partners and Ministries of Interior and Defense in Jordan and Turkey. Though operating in a joint and coalition environment outside her home service, she quickly became a trusted representative of the command—advising, briefing, and engaging at the highest levels.
Following military service, Victoria continued to operate at the center of U.S. national security decision-making. She worked at the U.S. Institute of Peace, advising senior executives in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, including Special Operations and Low Intensity Conflict (SO/LIC), on strategy, policy, and future force considerations. She later joined Deloitte as a consultant supporting a rapid acquisition organization at DoD headquarters, contributing to strategic analysis and senior-level thought leadership, including materials used by organizational leadership to shape direction and priorities.
Victoria went on to become a founding executive of a boutique government-focused consulting firm, helping build and scale the business while continuing to serve senior leaders across DoD, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and other federal agencies. Her work included strategic engagement planning and execution for the VA’s Chief Acquisition Officer during the transformation of a $300B supply chain, preparation of congressional testimony, and advisory support for complex internal and external stakeholder environments. She has repeatedly served as a trusted speechwriter and strategic communications advisor to Deputy Assistant Secretaries of Defense and other senior executives navigating organizational change. In that role, she helped scale the business at ~75%+ compound annual growth rate, earning Inc. 5000 recognition three years in a row. She served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Strategy Officer.
Across these roles, a consistent throughline of Victoria’s work has been helping leaders move from where they are to where they need to go—by reframing strategy, narrative, and engagement to align with evolving realities. Her thought leadership has often taken the form of briefs, speeches, vision documents, and engagement strategies that enabled senior leaders to shift organizations internally and reposition externally with credibility.
Today, Victoria brings this depth of experience into her work as an executive advisor and coach, combining strategic consulting, contextual fluency, and transformational coaching. She is uniquely positioned to support leaders entering defense-adjacent and national security environments—helping them develop confidence, fluency, and presence while designing deliberate strategies for influence, engagement, and visibility.
Victoria lives in Washington, D.C. with her three children.
